…Where it all begins but never ends

Leo has been a professional artist for almost 50 years.  He received a B.A. in both Theater and Fine Art at Mercy College of Detroit in 1971.  While in college he was fortunate enough to study art abroad at the Vita International School of Art in Luxembourg.

After graduating he spent a number of years in the theater as a set and lighting designer in the midwest.  Then he decided to leave theater and pursue a career as an artist.

In 1978 he moved to Colorado where he now makes his home in the small mountain town of Conifer just west of Denver.  In 1980 he began working with the nationally renowned design firm Lita Dirks&Co. where for the nest 35 years he did commissioned art work and murals for model homes, commercial sites and private homes.

In 2008 he decided to retire and pursued his own personal art work and has enjoyed his success so far.  His wife Eileen and he have been married for 44 years and have two children and three grand children.
